GS Race night. Clear, temps in the high teens. Still pretty low energy. Got there early to try and get home and into bed quickly. Some reasonable swing in a couple of turns today, all down on the flat. Pretty good snow though. Decently firm and grippy. Skis were *not* sliding great. First run, didn't hit the skate quite right and was fighting the pitch a bit instead of carrying it down the hill, but was fairly fast. Second run ... I'm not sure what I did. May have overskied it a bit, because I felt good, but wasn't very quick. Ended up 12 on the day, which is pretty good. Overall, pretty happy with my skiing. Will try to get the GS boards nice and prepped this weekend.
