Powder day! Snowed about a foot overnight, and it continued to snow (probably close to another 6-8 inches) throughout the day. Temps in the teens. Just freeskied all over with other coaches, some athletes, and parents - whoever you happened to meet up with. Really fun time.
Had some struggle - really need to work on that powder technique. Would really like a rockered ski (that's lighter) to make easier bouncy turns - the mantras are just a little stiff so I feel like it's really hard to bend them and therefore need to twist them in soft snow.
That said ... had a real blast today. Can't wait for another opportunity to do that again.
