Cloudy, occasionally with sun peaking through. Temps in the mid 20s. Full length GS with various distances and changes in rhythm. I skied okay - 7 runs, with a definite peak around runs 3-5. Still not committing to rolling up on the new ski and going full arc on the pitch. Still ... it's getting there. After pulling, took a run no poles and really freaked myself out. I was right in transition over a knoll, and a small kid came out of nowhere and wiped right in front of me - nothing I could do to avoid a collision except lay down and hope. Managed to avoid, but really didn't feel confident anymore. Hopefully we get a couple days of sunshine soon.
